When Family Life Starts Feeling Stuck
Sometimes families find themselves caught in patterns that no one really wants—more arguing, correcting, shutting down, walking on eggshells, or having the same difficult interaction over and over again.
Parent coaching and family therapy can help us slow those patterns down and understand what’s happening underneath them. Together, we can look at what your child or teen may be communicating through their behavior, what happens between family members during difficult moments, and what might help everyone respond differently.
The goal isn’t a perfectly calm household. It’s helping your family build stronger connection, clearer communication, and practical ways of navigating hard moments together.
Support That Fits Your Family
Parent Coaching
Sometimes parents need their own space to step back, understand what’s happening, and figure out what might help. Parent coaching gives you a space to understand what may be driving your child’s behavior and develop practical strategies for routines, transitions, emotional regulation, limits, communication, school challenges, and other difficult moments at home.
This isn’t about giving you a generic parenting formula. We’ll look at your particular child, your family, and the patterns happening between you so that strategies actually make sense for your family.
Family & Parent-Child Therapy
At other times, it’s helpful for us to work together in the room. Parent-child or family sessions allow us to practice communication, co-regulation, repair after conflict, and new ways of responding to one another in real time.
Depending on your family’s needs, therapy may include parent-only sessions, parent-child sessions, sibling sessions, whole-family sessions, or a combination.

Connection and Skills Go Together
Children learn regulation in relationships. When families have been dealing with challenging behavior, big emotions, or frequent conflict for a while, it’s easy to get caught in cycles where everyone is frustrated and there’s more correcting, arguing, or shutting down than anyone wants.
Part of our work may be helping your family step out of those patterns by strengthening connection and co-regulation while also building practical skills. We might work on communication, boundaries, routines, coping strategies, problem-solving, or new ways of responding during difficult moments—so that change can carry into everyday life.
